Alexandra Sánchez specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, business planning and structuring, real estate transactions and environmental law, as well as tax incentive laws (free zones, foreign investment, tourism-real estate development, etc.).

She participated in the first privatization effort of the Dominican Electricity Corporation (CDE) in 1995, the creation of the first credit information center in the Dominican Republic; and the creation and implementation of the first road assistance company, co-owned by the insurance companies of the Dominican Republic. She assists real estate projects in their legal and fiscal structuring, as well as in the management of permits and concessions.

She has participated in various estate plannings, including corporate estates, using private interest trusts and foundations. Similarly, she has managed environmental and Non-Regulated User (UNR) permits for different companies, including the negotiation and signing of PPAs, having extensive knowledge of contractual issues and business in general.

She was legal director of the company and tourism project Cap Cana, S.A. where she supervised a work team of twenty-six lawyers, covering different professional areas. Cap Cana is one of the main tourism and real estate projects in the eastern part of the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), with a surface area of 125 million square meters, with an exclusive concession for power generation, drinking water and telecommunications services.
